Greetings to all watch lovers. Today I would like to introduce you my newest addition - Militado ML05. It is a field watch powered by a Seiko VH31 quartz movement. The seconds hand ticks 4 times per second. I got lucky on the piece, because about 9 days since the adjustment they go a fraction of a second behind.
The typically simple dial with no brand name is covered by a double domed sapphire crystal with an inner colourless anti-reflective coating. Water resistance here is 100m thanks to both the screw-down caseback and the screw-down crown. The case is sandblasted and quite low with a diameter of 38mm.
In short, this is a very nice watch and in my short time with it I have grown to like it very much. Given the purchase price of around $47 including all taxes, I can forgive them for imperfections in workmanship when viewed really close and weaker lume.
I use them as an all-rounder for work, sports, or just when I don't feel like adjusting the mechanical pieces. I'll be sure to add a real review in time, and I've already looked at them through a microscope, so video will follow in time as well.
